The year 2025 marks a significant anniversary for Øresunddirekt, celebrating 25 years of cross-border co-operation between Denmark and Sweden. Starting with the opening of the Øresund Bridge in 2000, Øresunddirekt has played a central role in making life easier for people and businesses in the Øresund region.
From January 1, 2025, a new tax agreement between Sweden and Denmark, the so-called Öresund Agreement, will apply. The agreement applies to taxes on income from the income year 2025, i.e. the income you declare in May 2026.
